In accordance with the law of the city of Moscow No.11 issued June, 4th 1997 “Concerning Burial and Funeral Business in the city of Moscow” the funeral arrangements including the funeral products and services are provided by the city funeral homes (undertaker’s offices).

All the products and services offered by our funeral home comply with the standards set by the Moscow City Government and are controlled by the Department of Trade and Services of the city of Moscow.

In accordance with the Government Decree of the City of Moscow 1045-PP issued November, 20 2001 the funeral arrangements for Moscow citizens can be partially reimbursed through funeral allowance (19 589,68 roubles) or can be performed free of charge by one of the city funeral homes entitled to organize such funerals.

According to point 1, article 7 of the Russian federal law “Concerning Burial and Funeral Business” the Russian Government ensures a free cemetery plot for each Russian citizen. To legally obtain a cemetery plot the family members of the deceased can address a funeral home and conclude the corresponding agreement. At present new cemetery plots in Moscow are allocated in Alabushevskoe, Novo-Bogorodskoye (Noginsk district of the Moscow region) and Perepechinskoye cemeteries.

Please note! If you have already concluded a contract with one of funeral homes and for some reason wish to cancel your cooperation, you are eligible to do so according to article 32 of the Russian federal law “Concerning the Protection of Consumer Rights”. In this case you have the right to annul the agreement and return your expenses for the unperformed services.
